Sarah Nechamkin studied at Chelsea with Susan Williams-Ellis, Rose's grandmother. They remained lifelong friends, and in the early 1960s Sarah worked at Portmeirion before moving to Ibiza, where she found the inspiration she needed to paint. Signed and dated 1960.
