This beautiful wooden chair, designed by Bengt Akerblom in the 1950s, features a vibrant tropical plant design conceived and hand painted by Rose Fulbright.

Hand painted in natural chalk paint, finished with imitation gold leaf and two varieties of lacquer. The underside remains unpainted, but lacquered.

This functional art work is created from a charming vintage item that has been refurbished but retains slight original wear and tear, to the taste of the artist.
